Loving the Spring!
Last Saturday was the kid's workshop at Home Depot-they made flower boxes!
Maggie loving on one of those obnoxiously large (but incredibly soft) teddy bears.
I guess this is what they mean when they say "sleeping like a baby" How much would you love to sleep that hard in the middle of the day?
For whatever reason, Will thinks it's fun to get in Maggie's crib and play. He did this a little just after she was born, but he decided it was fun again recently. Unfortunately it looks like he may have woken her up in the picture!
Will and Tyler at the hockey game Saturday night.
I don't know what it is about the springtime, but it makes me feel like we need to have an activity planned every day! We had a mommy-son day at Pump It Up this week and had SO much fun. Of course we missed Maggie, but it was a nice change of pace to spend several quality hours with just us, and Maggie was getting some serious one on one grandma time. Saturday was a father son day with Home Depot workshop in the morning and Will's first hockey game that night. They went to a minor league game which is geared largely toward kids and had so much fun. I think the kids got a little scared when the guys slammed into the glass right in front of them, but they had such a great time other than that! Eric said Will was mesmerized watching the screen and all the people cheering and he kept calling the goalie a robot.
Other than that, we've just been spending time outside, planting more flowers and taking lots of walks. Maggie had her well check last week and tipped the scales at 18 pounds (I think it was the fifth percentile). Dr. Julie said even though she's "petite" that she's following her own growth curve perfectly. Will is deep into the "why" phase which is really more of the "where, when, why, how" phase. He's getting to be so big in the way he talks and does things-we're already starting to plan his third birthday. Time goes so incredibly fast.
We hope this finds you all doing well and enjoying the spring as much as we are!

Ok, I LOVE the Home Depot apron...how manyly!!! That is a really cute idea. I also LOVE Maggie's bedding...it is so cute and she looks precious all curled up in the corner! We always wish we could sleep in the baby bed...it definitely looks the most comfortable!
